HAL - Hybrid Assistive Limb- by Japanese(no wonder) Cyberdyne , is the world's first cyborg-type robot controlled by unique Hybrid System, i.e. integrated autonomous and robotic control system that provides human-like movement. It detects movement in advance via sensing biosignals on the surface of the skin. Though it adds 23 kg to your weight!(if we call it a bug) but is aimed at different environments - disaster sites - and could be applied for the people with disabilities.
